Inaugural Posting

Welcome to the Data Mining in MATLAB log.

I already participate in another data mining log, Data Mining and Predictive Analytics, run by Dean Abbott, but wanted a place to focus specifically on data mining solutions using MATLAB. MATLAB is my tool of choice for statistical and data mining work, but it is not, strictly speaking, a statistics package, so it requires more of the analyst.
